What is a Trove?
A treasure trove is simply a collection of your treasures. You could place them all together in a cave and place a fire-breathing dragon on top of the gold to protect it. Although that worked in Middle Earth, it is not a very practical method today.
Our website serves as a mashup between the cave and a family reunion. Together with your family and friends, you can identify, discuss the values and share your memories of the items. Your family can indicate their interest in the treasures, and you can then indicate the next recipient. The memories we cherish are treasures too! Upload important family records, photographs, video and audio clips, and discuss each or all of them.
Although an in-person family reunion would be fun, not everyone is able to make it. This site makes it possible for your far-flung family/friends to participate and inherit your treasures. Wherever there is an internet connection, your globe-trotting grandchild can visit the site and chime in on the family discussion.
