The Person Type
Use Person for an individual who appears in your Trove. Person records make it possible to connect memories, documents, and treasures to the people associated with them. The Person type is built in and required by the system; it cannot be removed or have its technical name changed.
Fields included by default
- Name — required name used to identify the person.
- Home Address — structured address with Street Address, Address Line 2, City, State/Province, Postal Code, and Country.
- Phone Number — phone input normalized for storage.
- Photo(s) — one or more images.
- Authorized Representative(s) — required list of Trove users who are authorized representatives for this Person record. For example, only authorized users may "rate the interest" a given Person has in a given Treasure.
- Description — text notes.
The required Name and Authorized Representative(s) fields cannot be removed, retyped, or reordered. Other Person fields can be customized like optional fields on other item types.
